When I make my Burst Tomato Sauce that I use on pasta, I use several gadgets that make the process much easier. I use a garlic peeler, a garlic press, lemon squeezer, and a hand held hard cheese grater for the parmgiano reggiano, a hard Italian cheese.

You don’t have to have these tools to make this meal, but it certainly makes it easier. You can always squeeze the lemon by hand, a rasp can be used to mince the garlic or chop it very fine. Parmesan cheese is available with a built in grater your grocer’s dairy section.
